Comments : In 1945 she participated in the “Australian at War ” exhibition & won the prize for the “Women in Industry ” section with this Watercolor . It was based on the young girls of Richmond & Brunswick going home from their factory jobs whom she identified with the Russian workers who were heroically standing up to the Fascists.
